Primary Responsibilities

BUS. CONCIERGE SERVICES ASSOCIATE      

Educational Background and Experience:

Diploma and grade 2 driving license with 1 years relevant experience.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Knowledge of locations of government and other offices in Addis Ababa.
  • Effective team working and good communication skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English (Level 4).
  • Good interpersonal skill.
  • Understanding of principles, regulations, and practices of road safety

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist clients (in particular business travelers from abroad) in securing various information, products and other services as needed
  • Transport staff and clients to destinations as required. 
  • Delivering documents and materials as directed by staff.
  • Process various documents and correspondences of Emergent Ethiopia and/or its clients with government offices, financial institutions and others.

Emergent Global, Freight Services operates an international packaging, moving and shipping store out of the Herndon, Virginia area and is seeking qualified candidates for employment at this location.  

 

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Additional Qualifications:

  • Above all, you should be smart, hard working, able to learn new things quickly, and quick on your feet.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Previous warehouse and international freight experience is a plus. Computer skills and previous experience with shipping software is a huge plus.
  • Passable to fluent Amharic preferred

Primary Responsibilities

  • Receiving Customers at the store and attending to their packaging and shipping/freight needs.

Our Shipping Unit is in search of a talented, well spoken individual to interface with our clients who look to us for there logistics needs at our Herndon, Virginia location. The ideal candidate would advice customers on the best methods of shipping, answer questions and concerns. We will provide training and guidance to the right candidate.
